  • Our Solariums are constructed of maintenance free aluminum and Acrylic. This means no painting or staining – leaving you with years of enjoyment.
  • Acrylic is many times stronger than glass, half the weight and easy to maintain. Simply follow our recommended cleaning methods and Acrylic will not scratch or fade. Do not use commercial cleaners. Mild dish soap and water (Or water and vinegar) is all that is required for the interior. Hose it down on the outside if it gets dirty. Acrylic is also a great material for your greenhouse because Solariums extend the growing season! People and plants get additional months of sunroom use even under extreme weather conditions.
  • Acrylic is clear, colorless and has a light transmittance of 92%. Acrylic is clearer than glass and does not turn yellow. Acrylic is used on high-tech airplanes and submarines where strength and vision are of great importance. . Large viewing walls at aquariums are made from acrylic.
  • The roof and front of the solarium are seamless Acrylic - no joints to leak or collect dirt
  • The sliding windows and doors are made from the same factory-finished aluminum as the framing, thus providing a truly integrated-looking solarium.
  • The fastening system is invisible. There are no ugly screws (spaced at 6” – 12” like other systems) showing on the outside to distract from the beauty of the room.
  • The curved eave roof has an adjustable slope from 2/12 to 6/12. This means the room is designed to fit the house rather than the home to fit the standard Solarium. This also keeps your costs down.
